Candidate Statement

As a 58 year resident of Sanger, it would be an honor to serve our community as your Mayor.

As a proud graduate of Sanger High School, I have carried the Apache tradition of “Always with Pride” throughout my life.

My wife, Linda, and I have been married for 28 years and are proud to have raised our family in Sanger. Our three children attended Sanger schools, and our son continues that tradition as a senior at Sanger High.

I previously had the privilege of serving on the City Council as your Mayor and Mayor Pro Tem. As Mayor, I worked with the Council to place Measure L before Sanger voters, helping give Sanger voters the opportunity to directly elect their Mayor as opposed to having the council members decide who will be the next mayor.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with an option in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, from California State University, Fresno.

My lifelong commitment to Sanger, together with my experience in public service and business, has prepared me to provide responsible leadership and thoughtful decision-making.

I respectfully ask for your vote so that, together, we can continue building a stronger Sanger.
